30 A Girl with Kat
I do like cat. Anything with cat in it I like. I made a bit mess around
the b-day message circle edge! At that time, I didn't own "permanent"
pens so ink went everywhere when I touched it.... This was my first time
I tried to highlight the card edge. I learned from my mistake; I can do
it better now :)

29 A little & quick b-day card
My very first time using "embolishments" on my hand-made card. Quick
one. I like simple card like this one sometimes. I also like
Green/Yellow combo.

28 Three Japanese Girls - i guess
I guess because I am Asian, I don't paticulary fancy to use Asian things
in my card crafting. Actually, I lied. Most of my crafting supplies
are.... inkpad, glue, papers, etc; they are all "Made in Japan". I do
have lots... What I mean is "Asian Thame" is not my thing!
But I do like this one & surely enjoyed making this. I stamped on the
several patterned papers and build it up with silicon glue for 3D
effect. One of my quick card that I made a year ago. This was probably
the first stamp that I coloured in with my "Letraset Promarker" pen set
that I am crazy on. As of today, I am only 21 pens away to collect whole
set!
I did say I don't like it - but I do like this one a lot.
I don't make much sense. I guess too much heat in the house today...
Another sleepless night to come...

27 Simple 3D flower card - my favourite!
I was stunned when I saw this card before making it in the hot & packed
class room. I just LOVE this card so much. I bought the stamp & flower
punch on the day. It is just so simple stamp can do so much impression
and so creative. Just to let you know, I do not like the bookmark thing
on the right side but surely can use this idea for something else.
Ah, I think I am going to make a card tonight using this idea!
Oh, I love it.
I am defnetely making one for my old work colleague who has left the
firm recently. She loved all of my hand-made cards & I know she will
love it no matter what!

23 Flower 3D card
Using punches with flowers class @ Glitter Pot. This card was my very
first card using punches. I loved this so much so I bought over 20
punches at once and tried various version myself. I also bought this
stamp too - no regret. I absolutely loved this card and I think I will
keep it forever in my collection.
I made two cards in the afternoon class. I will show you the other one
tomorrow :)

22 Flower Pot card
My second time attended to the card making classes @ Glitter Pot and
made the card above. I enjoyed making this but I don't think this was
not my type of card that I would usually make. I think the problem is
that I can not put it into an envelope and post - no way... However I
would keep this card forever!
Please see below - message card pop-out like this:
The card was done in the morning class. I will show you what I did in
the afternoon tomorrow (hopefully). To be continued....
I just realised that one flower is missing from the top right side!! I
found the piece on the carpet & the card is now fixed... lol

21 Hello Bunnies
This is a "Bunny Friends" stamp from 2002 Penny Black collections. I
like most of Penny Black stamps and I have many more (maybe too much!).
I totally loved using water-pencils for this stamp. I think it went
well. I also used my very first owned border punch (Scalloped with dot
holes) from Friskers too. I saw it on the crafting magazine and totally
fall in love with that punch. Now I am crazy on Martha Stewart border
punches (with corner punches too!) and buying a set at the time monthly
basis. Don't you think they are over priced?! It cost over £30 for the
set! I have no extra money to buy a shoe (my current one has a hole!)
because of their ridiculous price! Their prices has not gone down for
several months now... Must be one of the Hot Sale item at the moment.
Ah, never ending on card crafting supplies... I have a week to go for my
next payday & I am already thinking which one to buy next :) I can't
hardly wait!

20 CopyKat Bag card
I confess - I totally copycat the whole card idea from my friend! I just
couldn't resist making this card - love it! I gave this card to my work
colleague who loves FASHIOON. This is one of Sizzix die (Big one). I
made similar version of this card three time so far and really enjoyed
making this.
***************************************************
Added on Monday 21 June 2010: Just found an another version of this
girly card (see below). I made this one first as "Good Luck" card and
this was my very first Sizzix card (it didn't go well tho... I can see
some glue marks everywhere....). I remember I spent several hours on
this & it was hard to put things together on the small 5" sqare card.
I didn't owned the die cutting machine yet at that time. After I made
this one, I totally fall in love with die cutting technics. So I wanted
one for my b-day (it was on my wish list). I now owned a Sizzix Big-Shot
machine that was given for my birthday present two years ago from
someone special :) Big thank you!

17 Owww
Continue from yesterday's blog - this is made in the afternoon card
making class @ Glitter Pot (first visit to the shop!). Also Gaynor's
original idea for Men card. Men card idea is always tricky. Loved
cutting out little pieces & piled up with silicon blue. I think this
type of technique is my favourite thing in card making. I didn't buy the
stamp it is because I didn't have any idea of who to give the card to...
I like it tho.
The stamp is quite big so just to fit on 5" square card & there is a
girl owl stamp also available to buy. I think good paper selection too
by Gaynor. It is truly sad that I can not see her card in the shop
anymore. Really miss her card... Please come back!

16 Flower lovely
This card was my very first card that I made in the card making class @
Glitter Pot last summer. I was so excited going there at very first time
(to Glitter Pot). When I step into the shop, it was like.....
"paradise". Really. I was so overwhelmed and stood at the entrance for
at least 15mins; I couldn't move! I was surrounded by the card crafting
gadgets and you would not believe me; I spent there for a whole day
(9:30am to 5pm)! Also spent over £150 on that day.... (maybe over
£200??!...).
The card is Gaynor's idea. I have to say I just love this card and I
made this at least 5 times with different colours with backing papers &
all sorts of layout. Simply nice & chic - I can just look @ it for a
looong time...
Gaynor has inspired me on the beauty of 3D effect (with many thanks) and
I am just loving it. She is no longer @ Glitter Pot so I really miss her
class (well, only attended once!) and wish I went to her class more if I
knew she was leaving... Gaynor - come back!!

15 Have a nice bath :)
My sizzix has saved my day; made a quick card for my friend - Nick. He
is crazy, really, but truly lovely person. I wasn't sure about his hair
(I'm talking about the card above...) but it does look like him from the
picture here. Don't ask me why pink underware is there; I will leave
that to your imagination (dirty boy@!).
I could of done better especially on the very white background area
(using distress ink or chalk etc); I just didn't have much stuff with me
at that time (away from home). My sizzix machine has not been used for a
while so I made my effort to take the machine out from the storage room.
I'm glad I did this - love sizzix machine especially this (bath tab) is
my favourite. Sentiment was used from the Woodware Cocktail stamp
collection. Just happened to have one spare on the day.
*****************************
My very first bath tab card was given to my male work colleague who is
always surfing on the net called "aussieBum" (www.aussiebum.com) in the
office. I just can't explain the site on my blog (please do have a look
@ the site"!); it is too much... What I did on that card was that I
printed out all the pants photo from his favourite site (approx. 20
pants!) and I ended up cutting out of all male models (that was well too
much to handle....). Then I piled the pants next to the bath tab & also
some pants were hanging above the tab to dry with wahing line & wooden
clip attached to the card. That is probably my best card that I made so
far. Some of my work colleagues has offered me £20 for that card! I can
not believe I didn't take photo of it. I am planning to make one again
very soon for someone special so stay tuned!
Hope you like the card too :)

14 Piramid card @ Whistable
My very first Piramid card that I made but never given to anyone yet.
The picture is Whistable, Kent (I think). Hope to give this card to my
local villege fisherman this year (I know he will not, ever find my blog
on the net!).
I enjoyed making this but it was actually a hard work putting the
pictures in the right position. I used 1mm - 3D form pad. Maybe some
silicon glue was better idea for Piramid; well it was too late...
Oh forgot to mention - I feel much better this evening. I am still ill
but I have an energy for my blog! See you all tomorrow & stay well!

10 My very first hand-made card
I am proud to say that this is my very first hand-made card with a
little stuff/ gadgets to make it at that time. You would not believe me;
took me several hours to put this card together! And also I remember I
was so nervous when I sat on my desk chair thinking what I was about to
do now. My hands were start to shake...
Before you carry on reading my blog below, I am warning you; this is a
tragedy story. Really.
First - "Scissor Disaster!". I didn't have paper trimmer. So I tried to
cut around the backing paper was tricky - I couldn't cut straight then
ended-up cutting the paper smaller and smaller... so I had to trim my
stamp card even smaller and I also needed to cut the base card smaller
too... It was suppose to be much bigger as I planned...
OMG!
Second - "Glue Disaster!". I didn't have any double-sided tape at that
time so I used very sticky gel-type glue all over the paper (corner to
the corner). Then I placed the paper onto the base card, it wasn't easy
as I thought - I just couldn't put the paper onto the base card in the
right place! I lifted up the paper & re-position it over & over; at
least 10 times. Eventually I got it right but my hand was covered with
sticky glue and the base card was a mess too!!
Oh crap!
Third - "Whole Disaster!". I didn't know how to put the eyelets into the
card (originally tried to glue the ribbon but didn't hold it...) and
ended up drilling many wholes. Just to let you know I was lucky; the
'birthday' ribbon rescued me (don't lift the ribbon; at least 5 wholes
there...).
.... (totally lost my words there).
At last - "Pad Disaster!" (see below). First time I used the '3D form
pad' and I only had thickest ones (5mm) so the image was very high up &
the base card wouldn't even stand itself... keep falling to the carpet...
Absolute total failure. I never able to give this card to anyone and
eventually I did throw into the bin! .....but I kept the card to laugh
with and somehow this card is now one of my valuable collection item in
my album.

09 Hello Kitties
Last year, I bought this "Cat's Party" stamp above @ Glitter Pot (<- as
you can probably figure it out by now; love the shop & still the best
shop I've ever seen so far!). I think its one of Whipper Snapper
collection which I really like. Believe it or not, it was over £10! I
made three cards out of the stamp so far and probably need to make more
for such an expensive stamp to worth something!
This card was my very first hand-crafted card that I brought into the
office. Everyone @ work could not believe I made it (I don't think they
still believe it that I made it...). I can't remember who I gave this
card to but the one with red backing paper card (I forgot to take a
photo!) was given to my work colleague who LOVES cat. I chat with her;
"How is your kittie?". The lady always say; "My Cat is so FAAT! He has
FAT hands".... I love when she say that loud.... lol.

08 Where is my card?!
This is my favourite bear card that I made with my favourite stamp &
paper that I bought from Glitter Pot. Cut off little leaf and flowers to
make it a bit of 3D touch & also tinted a little for shine effect. Where
is my card gone?! I haven't seen it for a while - going to look for it
now; bye!

07 *L*O*V*E* Cupcake!
Don't you just LOVE "Cupcake" on card! This was a tiny cupcake stamp
that came with one of the craft magazine. Also my very first stamp that
I actually used from a magazine (actually I never thought I would use
anything from the magazine - free goodies). Simply nice & just love this
card - yumm! I remember I gave this card to my boss @ work last year -
hope she liked it.

06 Jungle card!
I think the image above is my very first purchased stamp from Glitter
Pot shop (@ Surrey) two year's ago. I remember I did not know how to put
the card together; I spent over 4 hours on this card... lol. This card
was given to my village boy and he was the first person received my
hand-made card. I was very nurvous about that. I got so attached to
thoes cards and I had a hard time letting my card go after 4 months of
card crafting experience! I miss you & good bye card.....
